What Jotter is

Jotter is software that schools use to keep fees, attendance and report cards in one place, with a parent portal for families. Every school has its own separate copy of Jotter and its own records.

Whose information it is

The school decides what goes into its Jotter and why. Jotter looks after that information on the school’s behalf and does not use it for its own purposes. If you have a question about information about a child or a parent, please ask the school first. Each school’s sign-in page links to the school’s own privacy notice.

What this website collects

Who can reach a school’s records

Each school’s own staff see the records their role allows. The person who builds and looks after Jotter can technically reach a school’s records, for example to fix a problem, set up an account or make the weekly backup. We do that only to support that school. We do not sell school records, we do not share them for advertising, and we do not use them for any other purpose.

Companies that help us run Jotter

Jotter uses trusted service providers to run its service. They handle information on behalf of the schools, and their computers may be outside Ghana. These providers are:

If you would like to know exactly which companies these are, ask your school’s office or contact us below.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete information about you or your child, please contact your school’s office. For anything about the Jotter website or demo, call or message us on WhatsApp.
